I like Cedric Charlier for his eponymous way of designing clothes and holding the label. After his trip to Mexico, he brought some peaceful prints and colours to his elegant, but slouchy pre-fall – fringes and lemon yellow sweatshirt & sweatpants were all here, creating an interesting fuse. There was also something a little pajama-ish about the idea, which communicated a sense of ease. Draped silk dresses in black or in blanched coral had a similar effect, though the collection's slender overcoats proved that Charlier didn't forget his instinct for discipline.
