Here are snapshots of (11) Anniversary Rakhine Traditional Thingyan Water Festival, was celebrated at the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon on the Pre Thingyan Festival day, April 13, 2014. Thingyan Festival is the Myanmar New Year Water Festival and usually falls around mid-April (the Burmese month of Tagu). It is a Buddhist festival celebrated over a period of four to five days culminating in the new year. (Photos by Tin SUN)
